Teams: Mamelodi Sundowns v Golden Arrows

Date: 02 February 2025

Venue: Lucas Moripe Stadium

Time: 17h45

Sundowns stretched their winning run in the league to seven games after coming from behind to beat Magesi 2-1.

The Brazilians were last in action last weekend when they hammered Sibanye Golden Stars 5-2 in the Nedbank Cup last 32.

The Tshwane giants are three points clear of second-placed Orlando Pirates at the top of the log.

Masandawana will not have Divine Lunga and Bathusi Aubaas due to suspensions.

Arrows, on the other hand, were bundled out of the Nedbank Cup in the first round by Chippa United who won 2-1 last weekend.

Abafana Bes'thende, however, went four games unbeaten in the league after a 1-1 draw with TS Galaxy a week prior.

Arrows are lying eighth in the standings with 19 points after 13 matches.

The KwaZulu-Natal side will be looking to banish the memory of a 5-0 defeat to Sundowns in the Carling Knockout round of 16 in October last year.

Here's how they line up:
