Chiefs have been struggling for consistency with only one win in their last five league matches and will be under pressure to respond after a 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City on Sunday.

Amakhosi remained in seventh spot on the log with 15 points and will be hoping to climb up the ladder, as they are only two points behind fourth-placed Sekhukhune United.

Stellies, on the other hand, were in CAF Confederation Cup group action over the weekend, after they picked up their second win in Group B with a 2-0 victory over Angolan side CD Lunda Sul courtesy of a brace by Andre de Jong.

Steve Barker's charges were last in action in the league on 28 December after playing to a 1-1 draw against SuperSport United away.

The Cape Winelands outfit are placed fifth in the standings with 16 points from, just one point above Chiefs.

The sides cancelled each other out in their clashes last season, after Amakhosi won 2-0 away in the first round and Stellies won the reverse 1-0 at FNB Stadium.
