Chiefs come into the clash on a high after coming from behind to defeat Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup semi-final last weekend.
The win over Sundowns also ended a run of four games without a victory in the league.
Chiefs remain in eighth position but the disappointing league form has allowed Chippa and Golden Arrows to close the gap on the top eight.
The Chilli Boys come into the clash unbeaten in their last three league matches, which includes two wins and a draw.
