The Buccaneers bid farewell to coach Jose Riveiro on Tuesday evening, where they defeated Golden Arrows 3-0 at Orlando Stadium.
Pirates have nothing left to play for except pride after Mamelodi Sundowns officially wrapped up the title on Wednesday evening, while the Soweto giants can't finish lower than second place.
Assistant coach Mandla Nckazi will be taking charge of the team for the remaining three games of the season.
Galaxy, meanwhile, know that a win will seal a top eight finish even though they will not be in action on the final day of the season.
The Rockets, however, have failed to win their last five matches in the league, which includes a 1-0 loss to Richards Bay a couple weeks ago.
