Mamelodi Sundowns will host Golden Arrows in a Nedbank Cup encounter at the Lucas Moripe stadium on Saturday, April 8. Masandawana come off the back of a 0-0 midweek league draw against Bloemfontein Celtic, while their opponents have been on a positive run.

Orlando Pirates will be seeking revenge as they play away against Free State Stars. In their league encounter last weekend, Ea Lla Koto had the upper hand and the Buccaneers will be hoping to get back to winning ways after the team have been under scrutiny for their recent poor performances.

Chippa United will host Polokwane City at Nelson Mandela Bay stadium. With both sides going through a rough patch, it will all come down to which team wants the positive result the most, however, Chippa will seek to take advantage of playing on their home turf.

Mamelodi Sundowns v Golden Arrows (Nedbank Cup)

League rankings: Sundowns 5th Arrows 6th (Absa Premiership)

Useful facts: While Sundowns have been struggling to find the net, with just two goals from their last three games, Arrows are scoring relatively easily these days, with five goals in their last two, including the win over Maritzburg United in the Last 32. Sundowns have also won only two of their last five in all competitions, while Arrows have won three in that timeframe. But with nine wins from their last 19 encounters, Sundowns still hold the upper hand psychologically.

Fani Madida: Tough one… I see a draw.

Free State Stars v Orlando Pirates (Nedbank Cup)

League rankings: Free State Stars 14th Pirates 11th (Absa Premiership)

Useful facts: After an incredible 3-2 win over their opponents, Pirates, last weekend; Stars will be full of confidence, as Serame Letsoaka looks to make it three wins from four in all competitions. Pirates, on the other hand, are in freefall, with just one win from their last 14 games in all competitions.

Fani Madida: It's a cup game, so I'll give it to Pirates.

Chippa Utd v Polokwane City (Nedbank Cup)

League rankings: Chippa 10th Polokwane 7th (Absa Premiership)

Useful facts: Chippa have won only one of their last eight in all competitions, but come up against a Polokwane City team in an even worse state, with one win from their last 10. However, history is on Rise and Shine's side, with three wins from their last five encounters with the Chilli Boys.

Fani Madida: Let's give it to Chippa, on penalties.
