Liverpool travel to the Olimpico as the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final against AS Roma takes the stage. The Reds secured a 5-2 win at Anfield, however Roma will be confident knowing that they have two away goals in the bag. This promises to be an interesting match for the spectators and the Kop faithful will be hoping to see their beloved club in the final of the competition after 13 years.

In the Europa League on Thursday, May 3, Atletico Madrid host Arsenal in the second leg of the semi-final round. The first leg saw the two sides locked in a 1-all draw, to the advantage of Atletico who go into their home game with an away goal. Will Arsene Wenger progress to the final in his last days in the hot seat?

Match of the Week

AS Roma v Liverpool (UEFA Champions League)

Match 1 Soccer 6 Pool 2 May S6 V3 P1

League Rankings: Roma 3rd (Serie A) Liverpool 3rd (EPL) Useful facts: Following the seven-goal thriller in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final, one can only wonder what the second leg fixture has in store for football followers when Giallorossi and the Reds battle it out for the last time for a spot in the final. Jurgen Klopp's charges were rampant and showed no mercy as they netted five times at Anfield last week. It appeared as though the Italian visitors stood no chance of coming back in the game, but they were fortunate enough to return home with two vital away goals. Whether La Magica will pull an act of 'magic' and do to Liverpool what they did to newly crowned La Liga champions, FC Barcelona, in the quarterfinals, only the final result at Stadio Olimpico will tell on Wednesday evening.

Atletico Madrid v Arsenal (UEFA Europa Cup)

Match 1 Soccer 6 Pool 3 May S6 V1 P2

League Rankings: Atletico 2nd (LaLiga) Arsenal 6th (EPL) Useful facts: Diego Simeone's charges were able to secure an away goal advantage at Emirates last week and will hope to add on that when they return to Wanda Metropolitano for the second leg of the Europa Cup. Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger's side is still trying to recover from a 2-1 Premier League defeat to long-standing rivals Manchester United. Both teams are dependent on this cup, having missed out on other domestic trophies. A 1-1 stalemate was the result when the Gunners hosted Los Rojiblancos previously.
