Here Are Tips For Selected Soccer 6 Matches

Here Are Tips For Selected Soccer 6 Matches

Friday evening sees the continuation of the Telkom Knockout as Highlands Park host Chippa United at the Makhulong Stadium. Chippa have produced some good football this season, but with Highlands Park turning to the experienced Gordon Igesund to take over as head coach, this could be an interesting affiar.

Bidvest Wits travel to Goble Park on Saturday as they take on Free State Stars in the Telkom Knockout. Gavin Hunt's charges will be looking to follow up their MTN8 success with another trophy, while Free State Stars have been struggling and will be hoping to turn their fortunes around against the Clever Boys.

West Ham United and Sunderland face off at the London Stadium, with both teams having endured tough starts to the season. The Black Cats have still not secured a win in the league this season and are rock bottom, while the Hammers were boosted by their first three-pointer of the campaign in their last outing.

Highlands Park v Chippa Utd (Telkom Knockout)

League Rankings: Highlands Park 13th Chippa Utd 7th (Absa Premiership)

Useful facts: Neither side is in good form going into this game and both teams have won only one of their last five games. Furthermore, there is no historical precedent, making this a tough game to predict.

Humphrey Mlwane: I'll give it to Chippa.

Free State Stars v Bidvest Wits (Telkom Knockout)

League Rankings: Free State Stars 14th Bidvest Wits 8th (Absa Premiership)

Useful facts: Wits have won three of their last five games and have lost none, while Ea Lla Koto haven't won any games in that timeframe. However, historically speaking, these teams are about as perfectly matched as can be, with their last 23 matches ending in seven wins for Wits, eight for Stars and eight draws.

Humphrey Mlwane: I think, with the team they have, Wits will win.

West Ham v Sunderland (Premier League)

League rankings: West Ham 15th Sunderland 20th

Useful facts: The Hammers seem to be rediscovering their best form, having beaten Crystal Palace away from home last weekend, but they will still be desperate to put the four-match losing streak from earlier in the season behind them. However, Sunderland's struggles will give them confidence in this home game, with the Black Cats failing to win any of their last six and losing four. Furthermore, West Ham haven't lost to Sunderland in any of their last six meetings and have won three of those games.

Humphrey Mlwane: West Ham.
