Watch the Lockdown League Top ten goals as Sadio Mane, Kevin De Brunye and Lionel Messi top the list.

During this incredible Lockdown League, brought to you by HyperSocial and Soccer Laduma, we have seen great games along with a variety of brilliant goals. Although football is yet to return in South Africa, the top 10 goals of round one of the FIFA tournament have been carefully selected for your enjoyment.

With the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Sadio Mane, and Ousmane Dembele making it onto this list among other superstars, the couch warriors showed that scoring beautiful goals can also be done off the field.

10th best goal - Anthony Gordinho with Kyle Walker

Anthony Gordinho scored a bullet header with Manchester City's pacey right back, Kyle Walker. This goal ensured Gordinho's place in the quarter-final as he narrowly beat Miguel Timm in this encounter.  

9th best goal - Sibusiso Vilakazi with Kevin De Bruyne 

Sibusiso Vilakazi scored a brilliant goal with Manchester City star, Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian made a powerful run into the box and smashed the ball into the back of the net. Vila scored the fourth goal of the game against Lyle Lakay, who was knocked out in round one.

8th best goal – Aubrey Modiba with Lionel Messi

Aubrey Modiba scored with Lionel Messi. The FC Barcelona maestro finished smartly after Luis Suarez played in a brilliant through ball. Unfortunately, Modiba lost in the first round, with Aubrey Ngoma sealing the win.

7th best goal – Reyaad Pieterse with Sadio Mane

Reyaad Pieterse scored a brilliant goal with Sadio Mane. Despite playing for FC Barcelona in this match, the African star scored an impressive solo goal after escaping a tackle to double the LaLiga side's lead and beating Grant Kekana in the process.

6th best goal – Wayde Jooste with Kevin De Brunye 

Wayde Jooste's goal with Kevin De Brunye comes in at sixth place. The Belgium international slotted the ball in the top corner after starting a quick counter-attack from his own half. Jooste's opponent, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, was also knocked out in round one of the competition.

5th best goal – Wayde Van Niekerk with Roberto Firmino

Into the top five, with Wayde Van Niekerk who scored with Liverpool forward, Roberto Firmino. The Brazilian used his magical footwork in the penalty area to shoot and score a wonderful curling effort, as Van Niekerk defeated Dylan Sage. 

4th best goal – Thabang Monare with Marco Verratti 

Thabang Monare scored with PSG midfielder, Marco Verratti. Neymar was the creator, using his skill to set up the Italian who tapped the ball into the back of the net. However, opponent, Tshidiso Letsholonyane, ultimately made it into the quarter-final stage.  

3rd best goal – Reyaad Pieterse with Ousmane Dembele 

Reyaad Pieterse appears once again in third place, as Barcelona winger, Ousmane Dembele, scored a powerful header after Sadio Mane delivered an excellent cross. Opponent, Grant Kekana continued to complain as to why Mane was wearing the colours of the Catalan giants.  

 2nd best goal – Aubrey Ngoma with Eden Hazard

Aubrey Ngoma came in second place, after scoring with Real Madrid attacker, Eden Hazard. The Belgium international dribbled past the defence to rifle the ball home and give his team the lead.

1st goal – Cole Alexander with Toni Kroos

In first place, Cole Alexander scored with German midfielder, Toni Kroos. The Real Madrid man took a brilliant long-range effort, which hit the crossbar and crossed the goal line. Alexander would go on to defeat Lorenzo Gordinho to reach the quarter-final stage of the Lockdown League.
