Sony have announced that there will be PlayStation 5 showcase event on Wednesday, 16 September 2020.
This week, Microsoft revealed a number of details regarding their new consoles after having to react quickly following leaked information.
Sony are yet to reveal the release date or price, and may now have the upper hand in their launch strategy after finding out details about the Xbox release and price.
The PlayStation 5 showcase is set to stream on YouTube and Twitch, and will start at 10PM SA time.
The event is not necessarily hardware-focused, and is set to provide more details on the games for the upcoming console.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon: Forbidden West, as well as Ratchet Clank: Rift Apart or a few of the exclusive titles that have already been revealed.
It will be interesting to see if fans will get any new updates on when they will actually be able to play on the new console, or whether it will only focus on the games.
