Konami have been showing off player ratings for their partner clubs over the last few days, and as expected, Lionel Messi has the highest rating of all players revealed so far.

As well as there being an iconic version of the player in the Club Edition, Messi achieves an overall of 84, beating the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The high ratings remain despite a terrible season for the Catalans, which ended in UEFA Champions League humiliation as well as finishing behind fierce rivals, Real Madrid, in LaLiga.
Messi was then involved in a major transfer saga, which seems to have come to an end after the player broke his silence on the matter.

Interestingly, Luis Suarez was also part of the ratings reveal, despite the player being close to leaving the club. The Uruguay striker received an overall of 89, the same score as goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
