While Manchester United attacker Mason Greenwood was removed from FIFA22 amid rape and assault allegations, the 20-year-old remains on other video games such as Football Manager 22.

In what was news that gripped the football world, Greenwood was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault last week, after images and voice recordings surfaced online from an alleged victim who claimed that the striker had abused her.

As the saga continued, the United youth academy player was arrested 'further' on suspicion of sexual assault and threats to kill, while the victim has been offered support.

Following the allegations made, the club made a statement and mentioned that Greenwood would not be returning to training or play matches until further notice.

Sponsors Nike have also suspended their relationship with the striker, while EA removed Greenwood from all their active FIFA22 squads.

That being said, the Athletic reported that Football Manager developer 'Sports Interactive' told the publication that Greenwood will not be removed from the game until after the current police investigation.

As quoted on the Athletic website, a statement read: "On previous occasions where players have been suspended by their clubs under similar circumstances, we have removed them from the game at the earliest opportunity."
