On Saturday, 18 November the Goliath Gaming YX23 Gaming Festival took place at the annual YX23 festival, at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg.
The gaming festival, hosted by South African multi-gaming organisation, Goliath Gaming, in partnership with YouthX powered by Nedbank, had a R50 000 prize pool and was hosted by Nasty C!

A gamer who has represented South Africa in the biggest eFootball tournaments, Kaylan Moodley, came out on top.
Goliath Gaming festival
The Goliath Gaming YX23 Gaming Festival took place at the annual YX23 festival, with Kaylan Moodley claiming first place in the EA FC 24 tournament.
The Goliath Gaming YX23 Gaming Festival was also open to casual gamers, along with competitive gamers and spectators alike.
The EA FC 24 tournament, which was open to the first 128 eFootball gamers who registered online before the event, or on the day, saw contestants compete for a share of the R50 000 prize pool.
Kaylan Moodley earned a bulk of that R50k share in first place, followed by Golaith Gaming star Thabo Moloi and Orlando Pirates gamer Riaasat Ebrahim finishing in third place.
