Former Orlando Pirates youth player Yanga Baliso is eyeing a return home in his next deal after parting ways with Finnish top flight side AC Oulu.
Since January last year, he has been playing for Oulu, having joined from another Finnish Premier Division club, IFK Mariehamn. Baliso has been in Finland since leaving Bucs in 2019, having initially joined Pargas IF when he got there.
At the Soweto giants, he didn't get a chance to be a regular in the first team, having arrived from Ajax Cape Town (now Cape Town Spurs) as a development player in 2016.
With the 26-year-old midfielder's contract having expired at Oulu, he has come back to Cape Town and has been assessing his options regarding a possible return to the PSL, sources have confirmed.
"Baliso is back in South Africa. His contract in Finland, where he was playing for AC Oulu, has expired. He is a free agent now and is assessing his options regarding a possible deal in the PSL. He spent some time training with his former club Cape Town Spurs," confirmed a source.
