Marumo Gallants, formerly known as Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila have commented on the matter of the R7 million in bonuses that need to be paid to players.
TTM pulled off the incredible feat of clinching the Nedbank Cup after beating Chippa United 1-0 in the final hosted at the Free State Stadium in May.
For their efforts, the men from Polokwane were awarded R7 million in prize money, which according to club president Abram Sello, would be paid as a bonus to the club's technical team and players – something which is yet to be done.
Siya sources have reliably informed the crew that the reason for the delay was due to the club's accounts being frozen by former owner Masala Mulaudzi over outstanding funds as per the purchase agreement between himself and Sello.
But, the club have shed light on the matter of the outstanding bonuses with the President revealing that they are in the process of making payments to the players and staff.
"As a man of integrity I said even before we won the cup that the process will go on and partake in that particular amount that we will be receiving from Nedbank," Sello told the media at the club's rebranding event on Thursday.
"It is in the process with all our departments, accounting, legal and all that. Definitely as we promised, it will be done."
