SuperSport United have built a reputation for cultivating young talents and facilitating their transfers to European clubs, which benefits the development of South African football.
Previously, players like Kermit Erasmus and Kamohelo Mokotjo made their way to Europe at a young age, with the latter moving to the Netherlands and more recently, Shandre Campbell heading to Belgium.

Now, it seems another promising talent from Matsatsantsa a Pitori could be poised for a European switch.
According to Siya sources close to the club and the player, attacking midfielder Thabang Makubo is believed to be attracting interest from several European teams.
The sources added that these teams have made inquiries about his availability, pointing to a potential move overseas in future.
"Actually one of the team which is looking at him started monitoring him last season. It's a team from France. Even this season they have inquired about him on several occasions and the club is just waiting to hear from SuperSport United what could be the way forward, but yes, the interest is there from Europe," the Siya source stated.
Additionally, a second source stated that a Dutch club is also eyeing Makubo.
"Yes, I heard about that French club (being interested) but there is also another club from Holland that has been monitoring him. They have their scouts and recruiters here in South Africa and they look at most of the young players with potential and Thabang is one of them," said the second insider.

"He has been doing very well for SuperSport United's DDC side and he has a bright future whether SuperSport United promote him or even if he moves to Europe. But I think a move to Europe would be great for him," the second source stated.
This season, Makubo has been in exceptional form, netting goals from his midfield position in the DDC league.
Attempts to reach SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews for a comment were unsuccessful at the time of publishing this report.
The prospect of Makubo moving to Europe underscores SuperSport United's commitment to developing players who can compete on the international stage.
