SuperSport United players are back in training, but they are believed to be in a situation where there is uncertainty over what they have been told by management.
Soccer Laduma understands that players were told by management that the club was not for sale and that they should return for pre-season for the 2025/26 campaign.

Management spoke to players after the final Betway Premiership match of the season against Golden Arrows, indicating that they should not worry about the team being sold, which allayed some fears, according to an insider.
The players have been training since their return from the off season but reports suggest that a sale to Bloemfontein Celtic could go ahead and there has been uncertainty within the squad as they wait to hear what’s going to happen.
Should a deal go through, indications are that the consortium will rename the club Celtic United. It’s believed that R50 million is the price tag placed for acquiring the status of Matsatsantsa, who struggled during the past season as they avoided going into the playoffs on the final day of the Premiership campaign.
