With Gallants currently at the foot of the Premiership log, insiders have revealed, however, that the club is focused on avoiding the drop before any decisions on player movements are made.
"SuperSport United have already talked to Gallants and the player's representative about Lesiba moving to Tshwane next season but talks have been put on hold because they don't want to confuse the player at this stage of the season," a source revealed to the Siya crew.
"SuperSport want to bring in Nku because they believe he can take over from Siyabonga Nhlapho who could retire soon or feed his experience to a much younger player like Lesiba and that's why they want to sign him this coming season."
Nku has one year remaining on his contract at Gallants after singing a two-year deal when he joined the club from Polokwane City in July 2022.
