There is a breakthrough for Riyaad Norodien in his search for a new club as he looks to return to the PSL in his next deal.
Last season, Norodien had a stint with DC Motema Pembe in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in what was a surprise move for the former Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City player.
On his return to Mzansi after parting ways with the DRC side, the 27-year-old spent some time training with Baroka FC, while assessing his options regarding the next move.
Royal AM is one of the clubs that showed interest in the winger though he couldn't sign for any of the suitors as he has been awaiting the issuing of his clearance from the DRC outfit.
News reaching the Siya crew is that the attacker has finally received his clearance, with his handlers now escalating their efforts to place the Cape Town-born player at a club for the 2022/23 season.
"Riyaad Norodien has finally received his clearance from the DR Congo and is free to join a team of his choice," said the source.
"DC Motema Pembe issued the clearance this week and the player's representatives are working out something for him. Talks are ongoing with two clubs in the DStv Premiership about the player and things look promising," the source added.
