Former Bafana Bafana coach Ephraim 'Shakes' Mashaba could land an exciting role in the Absa Premiership as head coach of a club, the Siya crew has learnt.
According to a source in the know, Mashaba's name has been bandied about among those likely to take charge at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila for the team's first ever season in Mzansi's top-flight.
Following their purchase of the top flight status of Bidvest Wits, TTM are expected to undergo some major changes which include strengthening the technical team with experience in preparation of playing in the elite league next season.
"Coach Shakes is keen on a return to professional football and is willing to take up the role at TTM," confirmed the source.
Last year, Sakala had a stint in the GladAfrica Championship as the coach of Witbank Spurs from January to April, before the team's relegation to the ABC Motsepe League.
Mashaba's previous role in Mansi's top-flight - though he hasn't had many in his career, was in Limpopo as the coach of Black Leopards.
