The 21-year-old was in fine form during the recent Varsity Football tournament, scoring four goals as he came close to landing the Golden Boot award before UJ were knocked out in the semi-finals.
Mogaila's performances unsurprisingly caught the eye of scouts watching the Varsity games, and it has now been confirmed to the Siya crew that he has started training with Highlands Park as Owen da Gama seeks to take a closer look at the forward.
Gerald Baloyi, of Vodia Players Management And Marketing, told the crew that he began work with the Lions of the North over the weekend as he tries to land himself a professional contract.
Baloyi said, "He's started to train with Highlands Park now, he had a good tournament and he wants to make the step up into the PSL now if possible."
The forward is one of many players that managed to turn heads in the competition over the past few weeks, and he will be looking to following in the footsteps of the runner-up, Matthew Carelse, who landed himself a deal with Bidvest Wits.
Meanwhile, Baloyi also confirmed that Mbabane Highlanders from Swaziland are interested in South African coach, Vusi Mkhatswa, and have sent him a proposal.
