His agent, Gerald Baloyi of Vodia Sport International, confirmed to Soccer Laduma that his client is eager to take up the challenge at Magesi and be part of what he sees as a promising project.
“Mandla Zwane has applied for the coaching position at Magesi FC. He wishes to join this project because coach Owen Da Gama and his assistants laid a good foundation. At the same time, Matebele Football Club in Botswana is also interested in bringing him on board,” Baloyi revealed.
Magesi is in the middle of a significant technical and squad reshuffle. As previously reported by the Siya crew, the club parted ways with Da Gama few weeks after avoiding relegation from the top flight, ending his short but impactful tenure.
