Luvolwethu Mpeta Leaves Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila As Topflight Returns Looms

Luvolwethu Mpeta Leaves Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila As Topflight Returns Looms

Word reaching the Siya crew is that Luvolwethu Mpeta is set to leave GladAfrica Championship side Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, with a DStv Premiership club believed to be interested in his services.

Mpeta made a return to professional football after spending a couple of seasons away from the game, joining TTM before the start of the just completed campaign. The 32-year-old was one of the top performers for TTM, playing 24 leagues matches, as well as five appearances in the Nedbank Cup.

He came up with three assists for the club, as they finished in 13th place in the league and reached the semi-finals in the cup.

It was, in fact, in the Nedbank Cup where Mpeta shone, showing his experience to help the club reach the last four.

The player is set to become a free agent and could make his long-awaited return to topflight football, having previously featured for Platinum Stars and SuperSport United.

The Siya crew has been led to believe that Marumo Gallants are interested in the player, though it's understood that he has attracted more attention with his performances for TTM throughout the campaign, especially in the Nedbank Cup.
