Former Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane is on the market for a coaching job, with confirmation to the Siya crew that his SAFA gig is only on a part-time basis.
'Yeye', as Letsholonyane is known in football circles, recently parted company with AmaZulu FC after less than a year as their DStv Diski Challenge coach and the reason behind that decision is that Usuthu wanted improved results.
The 41-year-old bounced back almost immediately, joining the mother body as part of the junior national teams' structure.
However, Soccer Laduma understands that his role, like with many of the coaches at SAFA with the exception of coach Hugo Broos and Helman Mkhalele from a men's team point of view, is not of permanent employment.
It means Letsholonyane does have time on his hands to consider taking up another offer elsewhere on a more day-to-day basis.
Yeye recently attained his CAF A Licence having followed all the steps in his journey to becoming a qualified tactician, and this would have obviously put him on SAFA's radar as he ticks several boxes.
What remains to be seen now is whether local clubs will come calling, especially with technical director Walter Steenbok announcing that as of next season, all Premier Soccer League coaches must have the same credentials.
But the PSL has yet to clarify whether it accepts these, although coaches in the topflight have said they are in full support.
