Kelvin Abara Obasi Is Still Training With Kaizer Chiefs

Nigerian striker, Kelvin Abara Obasi, is still trying to land himself with Kaizer Chiefs as Steve Komphela continues to assess the 21-year-old.   Read: Sundowns Target Ruled Out For Months   The Siya crew revealed last week that the former CSK Celarevo attacker had arrived at Naturena as the Amakhosi continue their search for a striker, with Obasi believed to be a free agent after leaving the Serbian Second Division outfit.   At this point in time, it remains to be seen whether Komphela will opt to offer the forward a deal with the Glamour Boys, but it does look as though he wants to have a longer look at him following his arrival last week.    Click here to check out the PSL fixtures   Obasi has posted pictures of him with Itumeleng Khune, Leo Castro and George Maluleka over the last couple of days, and is clearly getting to know his surroundings as he seeks to make a good impression.   The crew will continue to monitor Obasi's situation in the coming days to see if an Amakhosi contract is on the cards for the Nigerian or whether he will join the long list of unsuccessful trialists to have passed through the gates at Naturena.
