Lucky Baloyi
Kaizer Chiefs have not denied nor confirmed Lucky Baloyi's exit from the club, as reports of the midfielder's departure do the rounds despite him signing a new contract. Read: Chiefs' Return Date Revealed Baloyi, 25, has been at Naturena for many years after coming through the club's youth academy, however, has struggled to make a real name for himself at the club, only once playing more than 16 games in an Absa Premiership campaign. Chiefs announced back in February that 'Sheriff' had penned a new two-year deal at the club as they got their contractual situations under control, yet he has since been told that he is not in Steve Komphela's plans. Baloyi played nine games in all competitions for Chiefs this season and it is believed that he has agreed to a mutual termination of his contract with the club as they look to get back to winning ways in 2017/18. The Siya crew contacted Vina Maphosa, the Amakhosi's Corporate Communications Manager, however, were unable to get any clarity on the matter at this stage. Maphosa would not confirm nor deny the midfielder's exit and asked for the question to be submitted by email. Despite the request, he is yet to reply to the email that was sent. There are expected to be several more exits from Naturena before the new season gets underway.
