Richards Bay are considering adding the experience of Thamsanqa Gabuza to aid the struggling club, as per indications from Siya sources.
This publication reported this week that the 36-year-old had parted ways with the side, having been deemed surplus to requirements by coach Sead Ramovic. He had made eight appearances in all competitions prior to his exit, though had featured just once in their last 10 matches.
Prior to his move to the Rockets, the lanky striker had been linked with a return to KwaZulu-Natal, where he first shot to prominence with Golden Arrows.
Now, Soccer Laduma has learnt that a possible homecoming has surfaced in the form of the Natal Rich Boyz, who are understood to be looking to add much-needed experience to their team as they continue to flirt with the bottom of the DStv Premiership standings.
Given his free agent status, Gabuza will be available to sign for any team of his choice, though Siya sources have indicated that he could return to his province of birth to help out his former teammate Vusumuzi Vilakazi in his quest to avoid the dreaded drop.
