Cape Town City could look to lure one of their former defenders back to the club.
It was reported last month by the Siya crew that Thato Mokeke could see his stay with SuperSport United come to an end, after it is believed that the Tshwane-based club has not exercised the added option on the player's deal.

It was also reported at the time that a source confirmed that Mokeke will be leaving the club when his contract comes to an end on June 30.
"Thato Mokeke's contract is ending at the end of next month (June). The club had until today (May 31) to take up their option on his contract, but that hasn't happened as yet. As things stand, the player will be leaving the club. It makes sense that he leaves because he has not been playing. He will be on the move," the source said at the time.
Now, according to Siya sources, City are looking at bringing the versatile player back to the Mother City, as they prepare to strengthen their defensive department for the new season.
Mokeke was recently on loan at City, during the 2016/17 campaign, where he was influential in their Telkom Knockout trophy win and the third place league finish.
