Belgian outfit Anderlecht have secured the services of Percy Tau on loan for the season and it now appears that they are targeting another South African attacker to form part of the Belgian giants' new-look outfit.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Percy Tau having finalised a switch to Pro League giants Anderlecht, having spent the last campaign on loan at Club Brugge.
Tau flew out to Zaventem over the weekend to put pen to paper with Anderlecht for a third loan spell from English side Brighton Hove Albion, as obtaining a work permit in the United Kingdom remains a stumbling block for the Bafana Bafana international.
Now, the latest news reaching the Siya crew is that Anderlecht are expected to table a €3 million (±R61m) offer for Luther Singh. Currently on the books of Portuguese outfit SC Braga, the deal would see Singh team up with Tau at Anderlecht for the 2020/21 season.
Singh spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan with Portuguese outfit Moreirense, where he scored three times and provided two assists in his 21 games. With the loan spell now expired, there is talk of a permanent move away from Braga.
According to Siya sources, Anderlecht are keen on the player, though the offer being tabled may be too small. The 22-year-old has a contract with Braga that runs until 2023 and indications are that the Portuguese outfit are looking at offers in the region of €5 million (±R101m), if they are to part ways with the player.
Anderlecht coach Franky Vercauteren is understood to be a fan of the Stars of Africa graduate, though it remains to be seen if Anderlecht will have their offer accepted, or if they will have to up the ante.
