An inspiring message has been sent to talented South African youngster Shandre Campbell who continues to shine in his blossoming career overseas.
Campbell scored two goals in his first league start for Club NXT as they defeated Lierse SK 3-1 in the Challenger Pro League.

The 19-year-old, who re-joined his teammates at the Belgian outfit after helping Amajita to win the COSAFA U20 Championships to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations U20 tournament, scored his two goals in the 51st and 53rd minutes respectively in a match he lasted 79 minutes on the field.
Campbell signed a three-year deal with Club Brugge in July from SuperSport United and is spending the current season in the Challenger Pro League as part of his growth overseas.
"About Shandre, I used to get on him a lot. He was obviously young and sometimes wouldn't know how to behave or how to act. I was a bit closer to Shandre whether in the dressing room or on the field, and whenever he was down, I would see and I would ask him about it. We obviously knew that he was good from the (DStv) Diski (Challenge) season he had before he came to the senior team, and he is a player who is just using his talent," Campbell's former SuperSport teammate Gamphani Lungu said, speaking exclusively to the Siya crew.
Lungu has fond memories of the Nedbank Cup Last 16 match in March this year where he and Campbell scored (two goals) as SuperSport defeated Richards Bay FC 3-1 at the King Zwelithini Stadium.

"There was a game against Richards Bay, 3-1 in the Nedbank Cup, and he did very well. Even if he had a bad game, I would tell him, 'Keep your head up.' I knew what he could do like how everyone in the team knew what he could do. I knew that there were senior players that probably didn't know how to speak to him or couldn't know how to speak to him, because we are all different and we take information differently. The coach might shout at me, and I might take it differently than he would. All I can say is that all the best to him and I'm happy for him for where he is. It (Campbell's move) happened very quickly, and I just want him to grab it with both hands and he mustn't get carried away. I know he is very well grounded, and for that he is loved by everyone. We are honestly going to be there for him to support him in any way he needs our support," said Lungu.
