Mandla Masango
Mandla Masango has been sent to train with Randers' youth side after a falling out with club management earlier this year. Read: What Next For Stranded Masango? The 27-year-old had a bright start to his career in Europe following his decision to leave Kaizer Chiefs, going on to win his club's Player of the Year award after scoring six goals in his first season in Denmark. However, things turned sour when Randers rejected an offer from Aalborg, and a public argument saw the South African international dropped from the matchday squad. He now hasn't played since July. The club's sports manager, Ole Nielsen, explained to the Siya crew that they had no choice but to send Masango to train with the youth squad, saying that they have had 'troubles' with him of late. Nielsen told the crew, "We have sent him to train with the youth squad. He has no interest in playing with the other guys, we've had some troubles with him here over the last six months." When asked whether they will be looking to sell the player in January, Nielsen said, "If there comes an offer then for sure we'll a look at that." Randers currently find themselves in fourth place having lost just twice since Masango was dropped, while Aalborg are 10 points behind them in eighth.
