Links put on a five-star performance at left wing-back for Aarhus AGF as they managed a convincing 2-0 Danish Superligaen victory over Viborg this weekend.
Not only was the Rustenburg speedster named the Man of the Match for his display, he was also included in the Superligaen team of the round.
Since making the switch to full-back from a winger, where he is adequately adept, Links has been sensational, dishing out one sterling performance after the other.
It came as very little surprise then that in August, the Danish club announced that they would be holding onto the former Cape Town City man for three more years with a contract extension that will run until 2026.
Having been one of the most consistent performers of the South African players abroad for the last four years, Links' continued absence from Bafana Bafana remains a concern, as Hugo Broos continues to overlook the 25-year-old.
His last appearance in a Bafana Bafana shirt came in 2021, when he featured for 45 minutes in a FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.
So far this season, Links has made 11 appearances for AGF and has registered two assists.
