Belgian club, Sint-Truidense, have shown faith in their young South African striker, Kurt Abrahams, by handing him a new long-term deal at the club. Read: Price Tag Revealed For Chiefs Target Abrahams burst onto the scene towards the end of last season after being introduced to the starting XI for the first time in April and the 20-year-old repaid his coach by scoring his first professional hat trick against Mechelen the following month. Now, with STVV preparing for the new season, they have confirmed that the South African has penned a new three-year deal at the club that will run until 2020, while there is also a two-year option on there as well. The news was confirmed on the club's official website as they continue their preparations for the 2017/18 season and he will be looking to get off to a good start in the new campaign when they face Gent at the end of this month.
