Jomo Sono, the man often credited with discovering Pitso Mosimane, has urged the coach not to take a step backwards by returning to the Premier Soccer League.

It was a meeting of the Doctors as Dr. Sono, Dr. Danny Jordaan and Dr. Molefi Olifant were all in attendance at the University of Johannesburg where Mosimane was bestowed with an Honorary Doctorate from the institution.
Mosimane was honoured for his contribution to football both locally and abroad, as well as his recent input in the development side of the game through the Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools.
Festivities aside, Mosimane who celebrates his 60th birthday this week, is still without a club and is currently assessing his options having parted ways with Saudi's Abha Club in June.
'Bra J' as Sono is known has encouraged Mosimane to continue his journey abroad, as opposed to returning to the DStv Premiership.
"He has money now, he can rest a bit," Sono quirked.
"But I think he shouldn't stay out of the game too long. I think he should go beyond coaching here. He's a top class coach and I think if he coaches here, he's going one step down. I think he should be looking for a job outside the country. If Rulani can get it, he can also get it. His CV is unbelievable," he added.
