Ebrahim Seedat has signed a short-term deal with Swedish Superettan club Degefors IF.
Seedat, who was recently on trial at Ajax Cape Town, has joined the club until the end of the season, however Siya sources have revealed that he could sign a three year deal should all go well.
Seedat is currently waiting for his work permit to be issued, and as soon as it is granted he will be available for his new team.
A graduate of the ASD Academy in Cape Town, this is the 21-year-old's second spell in Europe, having previously been on the books of Lokeren in Belgium, where another ASD graduate, Ayanda Patosi, still plies his trade.
Seedat returned to South Africa two years ago and signed for Bidvest Wits, where he made 11 league appearances.
He is the third South African to go to Sweden in the past few weeks, joining Xolani Mdaki, who joined Djurgardens on loan, and Junaid Sait, who signed for Falkenbergs.
