Bafana Bafana striker Lyle Foster has opened up about having to bulk up a bit to face defenders in the Premier League in England, which is known for its robustness.
Foster joined Burnley while they were still in the English Championship last season, before they won promotion to the top flight. While Burnley have struggled in the first few matches of the season, the former Orlando Pirates striker has been able to shine and get his name on the scoresheet for Vincent Kompany's side. But he had to do some work on his body to ensure he would be able to deal with tough defenders in the league.

Foster has scored two of the three goals Burnley have scored in the league this season, proving to be a key player in the final third of the pitch.
"Everything has to change when you step up and you play against treble winners, (UEFA) Champions League winners and (FIFA) World Cup winners and people who are obsessed with the game and who are obsessed with improving," Foster said to media earlier this week while he was in the Bafana Bafana camp.
"I've had to bulk up. I don't know if it's visible, but I've had to bulk up. It's a tough league and you cannot make too many mistakes, or else you will be punished. I am enjoying it so far and with the young team we have, we can only grow and learn more in this league. The first three games have been tough against world class opponents, but I believe in my team. It's still a long season ahead."
Burnley are bottom of the Premier League standings after three matches, with no points registered.

"We are three games into the season and I don't think we should press panic buttons. There is no need to panic. We played three tough teams, but we have a good game coming up on Monday and that's going to be an important one for us."
