As Mamelodi Sundowns prepare to begin their CAF Champions League campaign this Friday, head coach Rulani Mokwena could welcome back a key star to the side.
Striker Peter Shalulile has recently been out nursing an injury, but there is a possibility that he could return to the side for the team's opening Champions League clash.

The Namibian international has missed the club's last four matches after he was taken off during the DStv Premiership clash against Golden Arrows about three weeks ago.
Sundowns are set to take on Tanzanian outfit Bumamuru FC at Azam Stadium on Friday, in the first round, first leg clash.
Having missed out on a place in the final last season, when they were knocked out by Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca, Sundowns will be hoping that this is the campaign they finally get their hands on the coveted continental prize. Sundowns have usually done well in the competition, but are aware of the fact that they need to make it count by lifting the trophy.
They went out into the market to secure new talent again, in an effort to make sure that they have a side good enough to compete with the best teams on the continent.

Having a player like Shalulile available will give them a shot at claiming the second star that they want.
