After last season's disappointment of losing in the Belgian Cup final, Andile Jali's KV Oostende will not be getting a second bite of the cherry this time around.
Jali's side managed to go all the way to the main event last season before eventually losing on penalties to Zulte-Waragem in March, and having reached the quarter-finals of this year's tournament they will have been hoping to try and go one better.

Things we looking good when Oostende went 1-0 up against Standard Liege last night, however three goals from the opposition made sure that it was Les Rouches and not Jali's De Kustboys heading into the semi-finals this time around.
While the Bafana Bafana international, who played 84 minutes last night, will be pleased to have forced his way back into the starting XI in Belgium – he's already played more games last season, he will be disappointed that he will once again go without a trophy to his name in Europe.
There are positives to take though, with Oostende having won seven of their last 15 games following a horror start to their campaign in 2017/18, and they will be eager to try and force their way up the table as the year comes to an end.
Jali's side has three more games in 2017 before the Christmas break.
