Siphiwe Tshabalala has returned to his club in Turkey and will negotiate a new contract at BB Erzurumspor, according to his agent.
The veteran midfielder moved abroad at the start of last season after 11 years at Kaizer Chiefs, signing a two-year contract with the then Super Lig outfit.

'Shabba' endured a topsy-turvy debut season at Erzurumspor due to the chopping and changing of coaches and overall managed 19 matches for his new club as they struggled to hold on to their top-flight status and were relegated.
Speculation has been rife that the 34-year-old would return to South Africa and was not willing to drop down a division, but his agent Jazzman Mahlakgane has rubbished these reports.
"He's gone back," Mahlakgane told the Siya crew, adding, "and I have been talking to the club president and they want to keep him and we are discussing terms for a new contract for Shabba."

One of the stars of the 2010 World Cup for Bafana Bafana, Tshabalala has a year left on his existing contract and intends to honour it.
"The club also has an option to renew it at the end of the season. Obviously, they have been relegated now and they have indicated that they need their best players to stay so that they can return to the first division. To them, Shabba is one of the key players and they want him to stick around," said the agent.
