Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has named a preliminary squad for the upcoming international friendlies in June and has included two Orlando Pirates stars who got promoted to the first team this season.
Broos confirmed earlier in the year that he would not include any of Mamelodi Sundowns' players for the international friendlies in June, as this would be an opportunity for him to get to see other players.

The coach can now widen his pool of players ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations at the end of the year, in case some of his key players are not available at the time.
Broos has included Pirates youngsters Mohau Nkota and Simphiwe Selepe, who were both promoted to the first team this season. Unlike Nkota, Selepe only made his debut this month for the Buccaneers and is already in the preliminary squad of the national team. Sipho Chaine, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Thalente Mbatha, Relebohile Mofokeng, Tshegofatso Mabasa, Patrick Maswanganyi and Evidence Makgopa are the other Pirates players in the team.
