The Court of Arbitration for Sport have reportedly thrown out Royal AM's application to have the transfer ban from FIFA overturned.
The KwaZulu-Natal side were handed a 12-month transfer ban by the world football governing body after failing to pay out Serbian striker Samir Nurkovic around R12million.

Royal AM did not agree with FIFA's decision and took the matter to CAS, who according the club, suspended the ban earlier this month.
According to SABC Sport, Royal AM have now had their case thrown out by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, meaning they will have to have pay out the R12million owed to Nurkovic.
Should the Durban outfit fail to pay out their former striker in full, the transfer ban will reportedly remain in full effect and the club will not be allowed to sign any players.
Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Nkanyiso Zungu was spotted playing for Royal AM in the KZN Premier's Cup on Saturday, but it remains to be seen if he will make the switch as things stand.
Royal AM start their DStv Premiership campaign with a KZN derby against AmaZulu at the Harry Gwala Stadium on 05 August.
