Thabo Matlaba might have played his last match for Orlando Pirates, with indications that the player could be on his way out of the club.
With only seven appearances for him during Pirates' Absa Premiership campaign, and having last played against AmaZulu in October, Matlaba is linked with an exit from the club.

Matlaba's contract with the Buccasneers is set to expire at the end of June. Indications from sources close to the player and Bucs are that his seven-and-a-half-year stay with the Soweto giants could come to an end.
Festival, as the versatile player is fondly known, will be open to offers at the end of the season, according to sources, as his Pirates future remains unclear, as reported in edition 1120 of Soccer Laduma.
"Thabo Matlaba is facing an uncertain future with Pirates. He is nearing the end of his contract with the club and there has been no indication from the club regarding the extension of the deal. The player will be open to offers from other clubs. In fact, I believe that the player's camp is listening to offers from other clubs and will be ready to take any good offer that comes up for him at the end of the season," a source told the Siya crew.

Matlaba's agent, Abbie Rasimphi, suggested that they would be open to an extended spell with the Soweto giants, although he would not discuss any other options.
"There isn't anything happening right now, but if anything comes from the club (Pirates), we will take it. But there's nothing so far," said Rasimphi.
Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United are some of the clubs that have been linked with the 31-year-old in recent months. Whether Amakhosi or Matsatsantsa a Pitori will revisit their interest in the former Bafana Bafana international at the end of the season remains unclear; however, sources have confirmed that the utility player could be on his way out of Bucs' camp in a couple of months' time.
