A loss on the weekend and an early exit from the Nedbank Cup has been described as 'a bitter pill to swallow' by one of the Orlando Pirates' stars.

Zakhele Lepasa, whose goal via the penalty spot in extra time looked like winning handing the Soweto giants victory, says the loss is hard to accept.

"A bitter pill to swallow, hard one to take. But the fight and the hunger we have, the spirit amongst us is pure. We never fold. We fight for the badge," said the striker on his official Twitter account.
