Orlando Pirates are being linked with an Ivorian defender as part of the plans to further strengthen coach Jose Riveiro's team.
With the Buccaneers expected to conclude the signing of Cameroonian striker Marou Souaibou in the coming days, after the 22-year-old landed in Johannesburg this week from Coton Sport FC, sources have indicated that the Soweto giants are also considering reinforcing in defence.

According to sources, Marumo Gallants defender Ismael Olivier Toure has become the latest target for Bucs.
The centre-back, who previously had a trial with Kaizer Chiefs, did well in the matches he has played for the Limpopo outfit although the team's results in the league have been disappointing.
The 25-year-old has been instrumental in helping Gallants to advance to the CAF Confederation Cup's group stages for the first time in the club's history with his four appearances.
"Ivorian defender Olivier Toure from Marumo Gallants has been discussed for a potential move to Pirates. It was just informal talks but the player's representatives are not ruling out the possibility of taking it further with Pirates," said the source.

"He is a good player who has done well at Marumo in the matches he played although that cannot be easy to see at times due to the team's disappointing season because of results. Expect him to be offered to Pirates at the end of the season," the source added.
In 2017, Chiefs confirmed that Toure had been on trial in Naturena although the club later reported that the star had gone missing when he was due to return home after a decision not to sign him was reached.
Toure previously also had a trial with Mamelodi Sundowns under the club's former coach, Pitso Mosimane.
