Orlando Pirates have confirmed jersey numbers for the 2021/22 season as the team is set for its first DStv Premiership match this weekend.

The Buccaneers are scheduled to host Stellenbosch FC at the Orlando Stadium this afternoon in their first match.

Fadlu Davids, who represented the Soweto giants at the launch of the new DStv Premiership season at FNB Stadium on Wednesday, is expected to be on the bench for Bucs alongside Mandla Ncikazi, following the resignation of Josef Zinnbauer earlier in the week.

Having announced their latest signing from Golden Arrows in Ntsako Makhubela, the Buccaneers confirmed that the midfielder's squad number will be confirmed at a later stage, as well as that of young striker Katlego Cwinyane who is back at the club from a loan spell with Sekhukhune United last season.
