Ben Motshwari might have last won a league title while he was a Bidvest Wits player, but the Orlando Pirates midfielder – surprisingly – isn't necessarily pulling much from his experience with the Clever Boys.
Speaking to the media ahead of the Buccaneers' potential Absa Premiership title decider against Mamelodi Sundowns on Monday night, Motshwari insisted the 2017 championship chase was more of a two-horse race. At the moment, he said, Pirates have three other rivals to worry about.

"I think when I was at Wits it was between two teams (winners Wits and runners-up Sundowns), but right now only three or four points separate a number of teams who can win it. Wits and Pirates are not the same. Things are different from when I won it – right now, even a team in fifth place can win it," Motshwari said.
Pirates are currently in third place – three points behind title holders Downs ahead of their top of the table clash at Orlando Stadium.

"We can't afford to concede early. Sundowns, if you check their games, they have a tendency to score early. So for us, the trick is to absorb the pressure and keep them from scoring early because it will be difficult to chase," the midfielder added.
