Mabasa Tips Radiopane For Success At Pirates

Orlando Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa has tipped his young counterpart, Boitumelo Radiopane, for success at the club, praising his goal-scoring ability and potential to make a significant impact in the Buccaneers' attack.

Speaking at the MTN8 Goals For Charity Funds Disbursement event at the Zodwa Khoza Foundation in Diepkloof, Soweto, Mabasa, who was last season's Betway Premiership Top Goal Scorer, shared his belief in Radiopane's ability to thrive at Pirates.

Mabasa was full of praise for the 21-year-old, highlighting the qualities that make Radiopane a natural striker. "Goals," Mabasa said when asked about what fans can expect from Radiopane.

"As a striker, he's a good player and he's definitely going to score goals. The boy knows how to finish. The boy knows how to time runs, knows how to make runs, he knows how to hold the ball and we've seen that already."

While Mabasa was confident in Radiopane's potential, he also emphasized the importance of consistency.

"[I] just hope that he can be consistent in continuing to deliver that," Mabasa added. His words reflect a recognition of the challenge that many young players face when trying to maintain form over the course of a season.

Radiopane, an academy graduate of Pirates, has shown glimpses of his talent since making his first-team debut, and Mabasa's endorsement will surely serve as motivation for the young striker to continue developing and fulfilling his potential at the club.
