Orlando Pirates CAF Confederations Cup opponents Enyimba have received a massive boost from the Nigeria Professional Football League just days before their clash.

To allow the Nigerian giants more time to prepare for their clash against the Buccaneers, the NPFL match week 15 fixture between Enyimba and MFM, has been postponed, giving the Nigerians more time to prepare for Wednesday's match at the Orlando Stadium.
In a statement on their official website, Enyimba confirmed that their league match has been postponed accommodating their clash against Pirates.
"The game which was originally scheduled for the Agege Stadium on Sunday 14th March, has been moved to a yet to be decided date by the League Management Company to allow Enyimba honour their CAF Confederation Cup group A fixture against Orlando Pirates in South Africa," the statement read in part.
This equals the playing field for both sides, with Pirates also enjoying a full seven-day rest, a rarity in their congested schedule.
Enyimba currently sit atop Group A following their 2-1 win against Al Ahly Benghazi, while second placed Pirates had to settle for a goalless draw against Algeria's ES Sétif.

The two sides will face off at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Wednesday, with kickoff scheduled for 5pm, while the return leg takes place in April at a venue which is yet to be decided.
