Tinkler: I Told Them To Persevere
Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler revealed that his side never gave up after going a man down against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.   Read: Ten-Man Pirates Clinch Semi-Final Berth   The Nedbank Cup quarterfinal clash saw Edwin Gyimah sent off with a second yellow card in the 71st minute.    Pirates seemed to struggle to create chances throughout the clash, but the game went into extra-time where two late goals from Tendai Ndoro and Mpho Makola secured their side's advancement.   Tinkler said, "We said right at the beginning, we're playing against the best team in the league currently.    "Billiat, Castro, Dolly, Kekana, they're all a major threat going forward. Their movement is exceptionally good, but we dealt with it very well. Brighton pulling off the saves is something I expect of him.   "We knew the longer we could stay in the game, the more chances we would get. It's not easy playing with 11 against them. Playing with ten is even more difficult.   "I just told them to persevere and the chances will come, we will catch them on the break, and that's exactly what happened."
