Kaizer Chiefs will host Cape Town City at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit at the end of the month, the PSL confirmed today in a statement revealing dates and venues for the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals.
Eight teams remain in the competition – with the pick of the draw being the clash between Amakhosi and the Citizens on March 31.
Cape Umoya United and TS Galaxy, the only two National First Division sides in the tournament, will kick off the round of games a few days earlier at the Athlone Stadium in a midweek clash. This fixture means a lower league team will be guaranteed a place in the semi-finals.
All the other games have been scheduled for the weekend, the cup committee choosing Saturday and Sunday to spread out the matches.
