Orlando Pirates' Bernard Morrison has been encouraged to keep working hard to improve his performances.

The Ghanaian forward produced Man of the Match performance as Bucs defeated Ajax Cape Town in the Nedbank Cup on the weekend.

The two goals he scored helped Bucs to advance to the Last 16 of the competition. Speaking after the match on Saturday, Bucs' Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic encouraged Morrison to keep improving on his perfoamnces.

"Morrison has worked hard and it has paid back dividends with tonight's performance. But he must know that this is nothing compared to the potential that he has. He must keep working hard," said the coach as quoted on Bucs' official Twitter account.

The player says playing in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge helped him improve his game.

"When I played in the MDC, I didn't look at that as a demotion. I looked at it as a chance to pick myself up so that I can get to a good place. The quality of players in the MDC is high. They can play in the senior team if they get a chance," said the 24-year-old.
